Paging Mr. Savitt - if you can reach out, would be great as looks like I'm headed to Shanghai end of May for opening of the California Center with Cal Asian Chamber of Commerce and need to get feedback from old china hand/head.

If you have an afternoon to explore, then I would highly recommend going to the Yu Garden. Next door is the City God Temple. The garden and its architecture is gorgeous and the temple is very interesting.
